Director of EYE HEART WORLD in Green Bay was our speaker on Monday April 22nd. Eye Heart World is this year’s Charity Partner for the Free Enterprise Award (FEA) and Brian came to our meeting to emphasize the impact his organization has had on helping survivors of human trafficking in the Green Bay Area.
Eye Heart World works with law enforcement to introduce themselves to victims of human trafficking. They provide residential program for trafficking survivors ages 18-25 and personalized case workers to develop a plan to ensure long-term independence.
Since 2016 147 victims have received emergency intervention services (89% are within the 920 area code). Seventeen survivors have received services at the Rose Home, open in 2018. The Organization has also reached out to at-risk teens to provide prevention education, and they continue to reach out to our community to provide education and awareness.
